Our meetings generally begin around 7:30pm though people start getting to the venue around 7:00pm, sometimes earlier if a demonstration is going on or a raffle is taking place.

            Every meeting has a theme of some description, whether it is a raffle, themed vehicle night, demonstration or Christmas eats night. People are invited to bring along part built and recently completed models to show and if any help is needed a modelling box is normally available for one of the experienced modellers to use with the person needing assistance. Below are a series of photographs taken at our recent December Christmas meet. Models that attended as part of the monthly ‘bring and build’ theme were three completed models, a BR52 Kriegs locomotive by Dave Ryan, a Panzer II Ausf.G completed by Graham Cotter and an Sdkfz 222 Armoured Car by Mick Ellis.  

            In addition this night also saw the final showing of our ‘Back to Basics’ theme where small-scale models were built and detailed using nothing more than the old methods of plastic strip etc. 18 models were displayed and in turn photographed for inclusion in our end of year CD. As well as this we also had our Christmas Raffle.
